Hello Everyone!
Well....I have decided that since EVERYONE does NOT have facebook....a blog would be a good way to keep all friends and family near or far in touch with our family!!
We rang in the New Year at our home with a few close friends and family. As many of you know Madek's birthday is 12/31 so.....it was also a time to celebrate our lil sweet man turning the big 2!! Wow...I just can't beleive it has went by so fast. He seriously is the coolest lil dude I have ever met and I fall more in love with him everyday. Mark nor I never knew how much FUN he would be. He amazes me everyday with things he says and does. I recently took him to his 2 year check up and the doctor asked me how he was doing...this was my reply.."he is healthy, sleeps every night all night, and he is happy....what more could I ask for?"......So......as most parents feel...we have the BEST lil man alive!!!
- And our baby turns 2
January also marked a change for our household-I started babysitting a sweet lil 3 month old girl named Lauren. Lauren is here full time and we just love her. Madek is wonderful with her and constantly says hi to her and gives her toys! Don't get any ideas....no more babies for us for a while!
We continue to support my Mom during this difficult time after the passing of my Step-Father Dan in November. My Mom is a wonderful person who I feel is holding together very well and know that this can only make her stronger. We will be visiting her again soon!
In the next few months Mark & I hope to start working on
some projects at home. We would like to build a storage system for Madek's toyroom and for our mudroom. We'll see how much we get done seeing that it is now snowmobile time for Mark.

What you up blogging so early.Hey we want to come up and visit.I would love to rent a sled a go riding with Mark.Was just wondering if we should come alone or bring the kids.Its up to Let me know.Have Mark check on sled rentals.How deep is the snow? Rylie has been playing basketball since September.She is doing great.She scored 11pts against Belding last week.Season ends this saturday.Talk to ya later Uncle
ReplyDeleteLove the blog, Jana! Can't wait to see more updates - I have a blog for Max but it has been a year since I have touched it. Christmas of '08 to be exact! Now that we have high speed maybe I could get back into it? We'll see after baby boy #2 gets here though! lol

The blog turned out really good! I can't wait to hear more. Good luck on the projects and I would have to agree Madek is the BEST!!! I hope we get to spend more time with him (very soon) on a regular basis. My fingers are crossed!
